The creation of a peaceful global society that fosters both individual and collective well-being is at the heart of the Bahá'í vision of the future.
Bahá'u'lláh states that all human beings have been "created to carry forward an ever-advancing civilization", and that each individual is “a mine rich in gems of inestimable value". The community building processes that the Bahá'í community is engaged in focus on increasing the capacity of individuals and communities, releasing those “gems” of human potential and empowering each and every person to contribute to the material and spiritual progress of their locality. As individuals begin to cultivate their innate capacities, thus the community around them is transformed, and impetus is given to "an ever-advancing civilization.”
The community and their neighbours from - all walks of life - get together to engange in developing knowledge, skills and spiritual insights through spiritual classes on various topics. The participants learn to act effectively and serve the needs of our society. We run ongoing study circles on demand.
These occasions help youth of around 11-14 years old, to recognise the ethical issues underlying everyday decisions and the moral implications of their actions. The groups engage in learning, socialising, arts, sports, music, culture and service activities. Presently we are not conducting any events, but do contacts us if you would like one started.
